Biography

Julie McCarthy is a fine art photographer whose work explores themes of identity, memory, and place. Her photographs have been exhibited widely in the U.S. and internationally, with solo shows at the Griffin Museum, Vassar College, The Mount, and Chesterwood, where she was an artist-in-residence.

She has been recognized by the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards in Barcelona and featured in publications including The Sun, Berkshire Magazine, and Shots. Julie has also created several documentary projects, including The Hair Project and The Stockbridge Women Project.

She studied at Rockport College and has trained at the International Center for Photography, Maine Media Workshops, and Woodstock Center for Photography. Her work is held in public and private collections.

Tony Macaulay is a Northern Ireland author, leadership consultant, peace builder and broadcaster. Tony Macauley grew up on the Shankill Road.
